KIT 207 - Tutorial 1


I managed to cobble together this scene in unity, featuring a number of exciting objects, including my own Wrest Point and Barrel models. The importation of these assets was quite a straightforward affair, with only difficulties with getting textures to work for the Kupa model. In the end I wasn't able to get them to work, but I was able to get the textures working for everything else. 

In this image you can see the legendary Kupa, standing atop his brand new Bugatti Chiron. It took him quite some time to save up for it, so forgive him for flexing. Right behind him, you can see the barrel I made in Blender. Kupa has been using it to barrel age his fresh batch of Bourbon. In another corner of the room, you can stand in awe of my Wrest Point model, which I imported successfully without difficulty. I'm not sure why Kupa has this in his living room, but I'm guessing he likes to have a slap! 


From this angle you get an overview of Kupa's living room. I wasn't able to get the texture to work for this model either. It seems the more complex a model is, the harder it is to get the textures to work; at least that has been my experience. The black and white look the living room model ended up having makes the Chiron's blue paint pop, however, so Kupa is chuffed regardless.
