KIT 207 - Tutorial 3
This week I created an enemy that follows the player around. I used the player model along with its animations as the base for the enemy, however, the enemy predicts where the player is going to be and moves towards that location rather than being controlled by WASD. I also made so if you click in the game world one of these enemies spawn in at that location. I had to add in a slight delay before the enemies would begin following the player after spawning in, otherwise they would fall through the ground (I'm not sure why but it obviously has something to do with their movement). Apologies for the low quality GIF, I've been struggling to get them below the 3mb maximum size for itch.io, so I had to sacrifice a number of colours and frames.
